Quality
The Wenergy standard
How we install, what you get, and what to ask any solar installer.

01 Why it matters
Solar is a long-term decision. Who installs it matters as much as what is installed.
A cheap quote that skips the paperwork can cost you later: an insurer that will not pay, a system that is not properly certified, nobody to call. We build the standard below into every job.
02 What stands behind your system
Four things
on every job.
Not extras. Part of the standard.
Qualified installers
Installed to SANS 10142-1 by people who know the work.
Certificate of Compliance
Issued by an electrician registered with the Department of Employment and Labour, after inspection and testing.
Aftersales support
A team on WhatsApp who stay with you after the installation.
03 How it works
- 01
Tell us what you need
Message us on WhatsApp or send a proposal request. We ask how you use power, at home, on the farm or in the business, so the system is sized for you.
- 02
We size and quote
You receive a clear, itemised quote with every component listed, before you commit to anything.
- 03
Qualified installers
Your system is installed by qualified installers to SANS 10142-1, with attention to the roof, the wiring and the protection.
- 04
Tested, certified, handed over
The installation is inspected and tested, and an electrician registered with the Department of Employment and Labour issues your Certificate of Compliance. You get your documents and a walk-through.
- 05
Aftersales that picks up
If you have a question or something is not right, message us on WhatsApp. We stay with you after the installation.
04 Ask any installer
- Who installs? Are the people on your roof qualified, and who is accountable if something goes wrong?
- Who signs the CoC?An electrician registered with the Department of Employment and Labour should inspect and test the system before signing. Ask for their registration.
- What paperwork do I get?The Certificate of Compliance, the inverter test certificate and the installation test report. Insurers and registration need them.
- Is it registered?Grid-tied systems need to be registered with Eskom or your municipality. Ask who does it and what it costs.
- What does the warranty cover?Which components, for how long, and who honours the claim. Get it in writing.
- Who do I call afterwards?A real person, a real number, and an answer when you need one.
