Information we collect

We may collect names, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, company information, order and quotation details, payment status, support communications, website usage information and documents voluntarily submitted for quotations, installations or finance applications.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, process and deliver orders, provide installation and support services, prevent fraud, keep business and tax records, improve the website and send marketing only where permitted.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by the payment provider displayed at checkout. We do not store complete card numbers, PINs or security codes.

Sharing

Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with payment providers, couriers, installers, professional advisers, technology providers, manufacturers or distributors handling a warranty, finance partners selected for an application, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Retention and security

Finance applications

Business finance applications may include identity documents, company registration documents, financial statements, bank statements, proof of address and contact information. We process these documents to administer the application and, after the applicant confirms consent, share only the information required for assessment with the selected finance provider. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers.

Requests to access, correct or delete information, or objections to processing, may be sent to info@wenergy.co.za. A person may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
