These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the ONE EMPORIUM website and the sale of all products and services offered by ONE EMPORIUM (PTY) Ltd (Registration No. 2025/711215/07), a private company registered in South Africa, with its registered office at 42 Discovery Dr, Crown Johannesburg, 2092.
By accessing this website, placing an order, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Basis of Sale and Ordering
1.1 Product Descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the website are correct. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. Products may vary slightly from their pictures.
1.2 Pricing and Currency
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice. The price charged will be the price ruling at the time of your order acceptance.
1.3 Order Acceptance
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase a product or service. All orders are subject to acceptance by ONE EMPORIUM. We will confirm acceptance by sending you an Order Confirmation email. The contract between us is formed only when we send you the Order Confirmation.
2. Installation Services
2.1 Scope of Service
Where a solar kit is purchased with an accompanying installation service, the scope of work will be detailed in a separate Quote or Service Agreement.
2.2 Installation Guarantee
Installation services are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period specified in your installation agreement (typically 12 months). This installation guarantee is separate from the manufacturer’s product warranty.
2.3 Site Access
The Customer is responsible for ensuring clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the installation site for the duration of the work. Delays caused by lack of access may incur additional charges.
3. Product Warranties and Liability
3.1 Manufacturer Warranties
All physical products (solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) are sold with the benefit of the original manufacturer’s warranty. ONE EMPORIUM will assist the Customer in facilitating warranty claims but the warranty is ultimately held by the manufacturer.
3.2 Limitation of Liability
ONE EMPORIUM’s total liability to you in respect of any product, service, or otherwise, whether arising in contract, delict (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the value of the product or service purchased. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of power, loss of profits, or disruption to your business.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Instant EFT, and standard EFT, all processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
4.2 Security
We use secure third-party payment gateways for all transactions. By providing payment information, you warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
5. Website Use and Intellectual Property
5.1 Content Ownership
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ONE EMPORIUM (PTY) Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.
5.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, including reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, or exploiting any portion of the service or the content without our express written permission.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
